Literary Art Exhibitions

Transforming literature into immersive spatial experiences

Paperclip develops curated literary installations that transform written works into immersive gallery experiences. Through projection, physical objects, text fragments, atmospheric lighting, and spatial storytelling, selected books are interpreted as environments visitors can step into.

Each installation reimagines literature as a living experience, allowing stories, characters, and atmospheres to unfold beyond the page; placing visitors inside the emotional narrative world of the book.

The Paperclip Literary Installation Series is a joint program of Paperclip Press and Paperclip Gallery, bringing these works into gallery spaces across Asia. Each exhibition features a curated selection of installations interpreting different books and their narrative worlds.

The series begins with exhibitions in Taiwan, Tokyo, and Seoul.
Future exhibitions will expand to additional cities and regions.

Resident Expert Salons

The 100-Year Financial Life
with Joseph Kuo
Paperclip Resident Expert: Money
Wednesday, March 25
60 mins | 12:00 PM PT
Live via Zoom
Most financial mindsets were built for a shorter life — accumulate, retire, stop. But solo agers are inheriting a different reality: a life that keeps extending, with no partner to share the weight, and a financial architecture never designed for this kind of longevity.

This salon examines what it actually means to fund a life that refuses to end on schedule. Not through portfolios or products, but through the mental models that determine whether the next 50 years are built with intention or improvised under pressure. How do you make decisions today for a version of yourself that doesn't exist yet?
Financial Wounds Born from Generational Trauma

with Joseph Kuo
Paperclip Resident Expert: Money

Wednesday, April 8
60 mins | 12:00 PM PT
Live via Zoom
Your relationship with money was written before you were born. By ancestors who hid wealth to survive. By systems built to strip it away. By households where money was never spoken about. By cultures that dictated what wealth was allowed for someone like you. You inherited the wounds long before you inherited anything else. The most universal of those wounds: Scarcity Inheritance. There is never enough — even when there is. The anxiety that quietly poisons what you've built: inability to spend, to trust, to rest.

This June, Paperclip opens the rest of the wounds. JOIN US.

The Grief Nobody Talks About
Paperclip - Dr.Hillary Cauthen

Paperclip Resident Expert: Identity

We rarely speak about the grief that follows change. Let's examine the emotional cost of growth and shift — the mourning of identities outgrown, roles relinquished, and versions of ourselves left behind — and how to march into your next self without fragmentation, denial, or disowning who you once were. Most people are never given permission to grieve a self they chose to leave.

Here, we honor what you outgrew without being pulled back by it, and learn how to carry your history forward without letting it become your ceiling.
Permission Slips for Your Unauthorized Self

Change begins with permission. This salon investigates the unseen internal resistance that prevents us from pursuing new directions — the subtle guilt, fear, and loyalty that restrain desire and ambition. The resistance is often a deeply internalized belief that your desires are negotiable and everyone else's are not.

Let's dismantle that logic with precise psychological language to stop asking for permission from people who were never qualified to grant it. Learn how to consciously authorize your next chapter with the confidence to move forward without apology.
Standing Alone Without Collapse

Paperclip Resident Expert: Power
Friday, March 13
60 mins | 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET
Live via Zoom
There is nowhere to hide when you are a solo ager. No family member to deflect behind, no shared narrative to soften the blow, no one else to absorb the weight of hard conversations and harder realities.

This salon examines what it means to stand fully exposed — in conflict, in loss, in the moments that demand you hold your ground alone. Not as a wound, but as a form of power that most people never have to develop. We go deep into what it takes to stand without collapsing, and why solo agers are quietly building a strength that the world doesn't yet have a name for.
The Validation Trap
Paperclip - Eamon Rooney

Paperclip Resident Expert: Power

Friday, March 27
60 mins | 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET
Live via Zoom
Achievement is one of the most sophisticated hiding places there is. If the business grows, if the award comes, if the next milestone lands — then maybe the harder questions can wait. This salon cuts through that logic with honesty and without judgment. External validation is not a character flaw — it is a survival mechanism. But at some point it becomes a ceiling.

We examine what lives beneath the accolades, what it means to stop performing your worth, and how detaching from external markers of success is not a loss — it is the beginning of the most honest and powerful version of yourself.
